What are in-text citations?
In-text citations may also be called "In-text referencing"
They are a brief note to show which source you are referring to in your writing.
It is placed inside brackets at the end of the sentence, or below a quotation.
The brief details needed inside the brackets should include the author's surname, as well as the date and/or the page number.

(Smith 56)
The full citation must be listed in your bibliography at the end.
